About this Nominee
Dr. Kathy Yimer is a dedicated pediatrician who completed medical school training from St. George’s University in Grenada. Her journey continued with a pediatric residency at the Children’s hospital of New Jersey, followed by one year of pediatric critical care fellowship training at the University of California, Los Angeles. She currently serves as the president and CEO of Rainbow Kids Urgent Care providing compassionate care to children in the Greater Sacramento area. Outside of medicine, she finds joy in her role as a spouse and parent to three wonderful children as well as playing squash and kickboxing.
